Bonded Fillings

Bonded fillings, also known as composite fillings, are fillings done with a tooth-coloured plastic mixture called composite resin. They are bonded, or glued, to your tooth structure to seamlessly blend with your original tooth structure, and they are safe, durable, and aesthetic. The most common use of bonded fillings is when your tooth has a cavity. Cavities are bacterial infections that can be present with or without any pain or discomfort, typically presenting as cold or sweet sensitivity. Not only can this material be used when a cavity is present, it can also be used to fix discoloured and disfigured tooth structure, replace old fillings, close gaps between teeth and give you the smile you desire.
